Due to their excellent performance in extreme temperature, refractory metals such as tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, niobium and their composite materials are widely used for critical industry applications in aerospace, defense, chemical processing, electronics, energy, and medical imaging etc.

 Application Areas:

-Aerospace Industry: In the rapidly growing aviation market, the fabricated products made from tungsten, molybdenum and their alloys are critical to the industry due to their outstanding characteristics such as: low thermal expansion, high creep resistance, hot-gas corrosion resistance and superior fatigue properties. Tungsten counterweights find use in airplane and missile guidance system. Molybdenum alloy used in the propulsion components. Heat sinks made of molybdenum copper etc.
-Glass and Ceramics: Their high thermal and electrical conductivity, low coefficient of thermal expansion, and high corrosion resistance make tungsten and molybdenum the best choice for electric heating in the glass melting process. Besides electrodes, stirrers, orifice plates, and mandrels are produced using molybdenum.
-Automotive Industry: Components made of tungsten heavy alloy are well-suited for highly effective crankshaft and flywheel balance weights in the production of cars.
-Furnace Construction and Heat Treating: Tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum and alloys such as TZM, MoLa are used in the demanding applications in heat treating, sintering, brazing, annealing and other thermal processing applications. Products include heating elements, shields, sintering trays, boats, and other furnace parts used in the hot-zone.
     -Electric Light Source & Electrovacuum
-Power Industry: Tungsten copper are used in the breaking chamber for arcing contact and vacuum contacts of the high voltage applications.
-Rare Earth Industry: Tungsten is widely used to produce crucibles, cathode and other parts for rare-earth melting.
-Quartz Industry: Large Tungsten Tube, Machined Die-Plate used as heating elements for quartz continuous melting furnace and high temperature furnaces.
     -Electronics & Semiconductor Industry:
          -Ion Implantation
-MOCVD system in the LED industry
          -Sapphire growing
-Heat sinks and Electronic packaging materials.
